My Dirty Little Secret

Pop tart love.  If a girl has a downfall, it must be the infamous pop tart.  This yummy goodness is the best way to start your morning.  Its fast, easy to take to go and can be eaten warm or cold.  It has sprinkles and/or fruit and can be anything from cookies to s'mores.  I see no valid reason for not wanting to devour these things at every opportunity in life.  Or hoard them as I do.  Keep them hidden in my bedroom (not out of fear that someone else will eat them, as I know no one in this house would touch them with a ten foot pole), but simply because I'm ashamed that I could eat an entire box in one day.
This post is mainly speaking to my US friends as pop tarts are not that big here in OZ.  In fact, you must go to specialty stores and you pay about 14.00 AUD ( 2.50 USD) to buy a standard box of these foodgasams.

If you want to take a gander at the variety of the these tasty things look no further then Google.  You can buy these things in any flavor imaginable.

Two things deter me from eating these babies on a regular basis (if you take out the fact I have to sell my body to just buy a box here in this country.)

The first fact is one of which my fifth grade teacher once told me.  She said a friend of her's sat down one fine morning to enjoy one of the lovely cakes and she broke it in half (as anyone does) and found, inside, a rats tail.  Of which you can find the story on Google.

While this deters me only for a second, I am always the first to break the thing in half, hoping against the odds that there isn't anything but jam in my foil wrapped treat.  You know another famous way to eat one of these is to break off the crust and just eat the middle.  Some of my friends were known to do that; however, I found the edge a satisfying change from all the jam.

Anyway; the next thing is this:

Yes, my friends.  These things are fairly unhealthy.  I'm not sure that unhealthy even fits the pop tart in the description.  I mean, is there any word that is worse then unhealthy?  Not that my simple brain can tell.

Tell me something, what is your weakness?  What do you have a hard time saying no to?  I can be anything....like stopping when you're full (thus clearing all the food on your plate to be polite) or is it the midnight snack?  I've shared my dirty little secret; its your turn.
