I have always hated baking and cooking. As a kid, my sister would suck up to my mom by getting her spoons and helping mom with the mixer. Not I. I would sit in the living room with my dad pretending to enjoy the football game just so I wouldn't be called to the kitchen. With that said, I've been spending the last few years redefining who I want to be if I ever decide to grow up. One thing I'd like to be good at is cooking. I want to wake up and look forward to what I'm going to make. They say that when you put love into cooking your family is happier. Perhaps that's the reason my first marriage failed? *smile*
Anyway- I look forward to pushing comfort zones and making some mistakes in the kitchen. Life's an adventure and you either sit on the sidelines or join me; with no promises that food poison won't be involved. Hope you get involved.
